Description
The range also includes a surface-mount microphone transmitter with omnidirectional or cardioid polar pattern, and a tabletop base transmitter compatible with Microflex modular goosenecks.

The ULX-D digital wireless system range is designed for the most demanding live performances and fixed installations.

ULX-D system highlights

Digital audio

24-bit / 48 kHz digital audio processing, with a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and over 120 dB of dynamic range, delivers incredibly accurate, faithful reproduction of sound sources.

RF performance

The ULX-D range’s RF signal stability and exceptional spectral efficiency allow up to 560 compatible frequencies within one band in High Density mode.

Signal encryption

256-bit signal encryption ensures privacy protection—ideal for all installations where confidentiality is essential.

Network control

Ethernet networking of multiple receivers enables the use of Wireless Workbench 6 software, frequency coordination via the Axient Spectrum Manager, system control via an external automation controller, and access to Dante™ digital audio networking (except single-channel receiver). Remote monitoring and control from an iOS or Android device with the ShurePlus™ Channel app.

Power

ULX-D transmitters can be powered by two AA batteries or by a Shure SB900B rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery, which displays remaining time in hours and minutes with an accuracy of +/-15 minutes.

The ULX-D series is available in VHF and UHF in frequency bands V51 (174–216 MHz), G51 (470–534 MHz), H51 (534–598 MHz), K51 (606–670 MHz), and now the wideband G56 (470–636 MHz).

Handheld transmitter fitted with a KSM8 Dualdyne dual-diaphragm dynamic capsule with a cardioid polar pattern. Interchangeable capsule. Powered by two AA batteries or an SB900A Lithium-Ion battery, available separately. Supplied with WA371 microphone clip.
