The Vox APC-2 is much more than just a guitar: it’s a real revolution in the world of portable instruments. Featuring a built-in amplifier, it offers a complete experience without any additional gear. Its unique design is inspired by the legendary VOX guitars of the 1960s, while integrating modern technologies that make it a versatile tool, ideal for musicians on the go.
The APC-2 incorporates a high-quality analog amplifier section that benefits from VOX’s expertise in amp design. This system faithfully reproduces the characteristic VOX AC30 sound while offering great tonal flexibility, ranging from clean tones to the most intense distortions thanks to precise gain control. One of the major strengths of this guitar is its Tectonic Audio omnidirectional speaker, which delivers clear, balanced sound projection even when you’re not directly in front of the instrument.
In addition to its amplification, the APC-1 features drum machine and built-in effects such as chorus, delay, tremolo, and reverb, with real-time tempo control. These features allow musicians to create rich and varied compositions without resorting to pedals or additional equipment.
