The Vox APC-2 is much more than just a guitar: it’s a true revolution in the world of portable instruments. Featuring a built-in amplifier, it offers a complete experience with no need for additional gear. Its unique design is inspired by VOX’s legendary guitars from the 1960s while integrating modern technologies that make it a versatile tool, ideal for on-the-go musicians.
The APC-2 includes a high-quality analog amplifier section that benefits from VOX’s expertise in amp design. This system faithfully reproduces the signature VOX AC30 sound while allowing great tonal flexibility, ranging from clean sounds to the most intense distortions thanks to precise gain control. One of this guitar’s major strengths is its Tectonic Audio omnidirectional speaker, which delivers clear, balanced projection even when you’re not directly in front of the instrument.
In addition to its amplification, the APC-1 features drum machine functions and built-in effects such as chorus, delay, tremolo, and reverb, with real-time tempo control. These features allow musicians to create rich, varied compositions without needing pedals or additional equipment. With 33 preset rhythms across 11 different genres, this guitar becomes a true creative companion, suited to all styles.
