The X-Amp Radial is an active re-amp that allows you to feed the signal from a recorded "dry" guitar back into an amp or effects chain.The X-Amp uses a Class A active circuit to reproduce all the sonic nuances of the original performance. The X-Amp accepts a balanced +4dBu input signal on an XLR connector and outputs two unbalanced instrument-level outputs for connecting effects and/or amps. To avoid ground loops between the recorder and the amps, the XLR input has a "ground lift" switch. The X-Amp allows the simultaneous use of 2 amps. The 2nd amp output is buffered to avoid signal loss, is transformer isolated to avoid hum caused by ground loops and has a polarity switch to align the phase of the amps with each other.
