PolyBrute takes it a step further, with each preset existing in two states simultaneously - and a dedicated Morph button that lets you morph seamlessly between them, revealing an endless continuum of inspiring new sounds in between.
The pitch and multi-function knobs provide familiar expressiveness, with the flexibility to assign parameters. There's even an assignable touch ribbon just above the keyboard, ready to be dragged and tapped. Morpheus' three-dimensional touchpad is arguably the heart of this expressive capability. This revolutionary feature offers 3-axis control of patch morphing, sequence/arpeggiator randomization, or up to 32 assigned matrix modulations per axis - adding a truly unique organic touch.

Instant access to 768 memories. No menus, no waiting - just like everything else on PolyBrute. The Matrix is the digital brain of PolyBrute's analog heart; a flexible and convenient interface with multiple functions that can be tailored to your performance, recording, or compositional needs.
In Mods mode, the Matrix's knob grid is a digital patchbay, allowing you to easily route any of your modulation sources and controllers to influence just about any analog parameter you can think of. With 64 connections and up to 32 modulation destinations, you're fully empowered to make magic with this synthesizer.
In sequencer mode, the matrix becomes a visual interface featuring everything you need to create groundbreaking polyphonic sequences, arpeggios and hybrids. In addition to notes, you can also record and replay your synthesizer's parameter changes, turning the sequencer into a whole new modulation source to infuse your tracks and performances with energy.
A heavenly interface
The PolyBrute brings all that analog power to the forefront with dedicated knobs and switches, making menu diving and the duty of memorizing tortuous paths a thing of the past. Almost everything you touch also generates MIDI, so you can capture your every move as you produce with your DAW.
Need instant ambiance? Turn up the Brute factor on the enhanced Steiner filter. Want to change the cutoff of both filters at the same time? Grab the Master Cutoff button. Want to shake up the foundation? Edit the VCO 2 sub-oscillator. It's all there in front of you. To provide a beautiful neo vintage look, an optional set of wooden legs is available.

The PolyBrute is equipped with powerful sequencing and arpeggiator capabilities.
Use the matrix in sequencer mode to launch a 64-step sequence and step away from the keys to focus on real-time modulation and dynamic adjustment. Add velocity, accents, slides and randomization for a sequence that evolves and responds to every musical nuance.
Instantly generate lively arpeggios in multiple musical directions, possibly repeated in higher octaves. Take it a step further with Matrix Arpeggiator mode, with a 16-step hybrid framework that lets you generate complex arpeggiated textures - a whole new realm of assisted performance!
Polyphony in Stereo
For a polyphonic synth to truly shine, depth is not enough - spacialization is a must. The PolyBrute features left and right unbalanced 1/4" jacks for the main stereo audio output, with features specifically designed to make the most of the stereo field.
The stereo displacement of voices can be controlled in the output section. This allows each of the 6 voices to be subtly panned to the left and right to varying degrees, allowing you to go from a focused, centralized sound to a larger-than-life immersive width. In addition, the dual crossover can be placed in parallel, resulting in a discrete stereo sound. In this mode, the left and right channels can have different evolving sounds that can be manipulated with the morphing functions.
Finally, a built-in set of high-quality digital effects adds the finishing touch to your stereo mode patches. We've included favorite algorithms from our critically acclaimed FX Collection software, as well as new reverbs and delays to take advantage of PolyBrute's stereo architecture. Best of all, you can modulate the parameters of certain effects with the Modulation Matrix for vivid spacialization and uncommon texture.
