Description
The MicroKorg XL+ is a synthesizer/vocoder using MMT (Multi Modeling Technology) synthesis, capable of generating different synthesis forms, coupled with a powerful 16-band vocoder featuring the classic functions of the genre, with a bonus: the capture of its own voice formants, ideal for voice tampering.
The MicroKorg XL+ is sold with a microphone for use with the vocoder, and it can run on batteries or AC power.
The polyphony is 8 voices with two-part multitimbrality. The tones, 128 in number, are divided into banks (genre and category) accessible on the front panel via two large rotary knobs , a way of emphasizing the practicality and simplicity of selecting a sound quickly.
The MicroKorg XL+ has 2 effect processors per tone with a total of 17 effect types. But most amazingly, it has some of the effect algorithms of the built-in Kaoss Pad KP3, rounding out this understated but effective inventory of the effect section.
The MicroKorg XL+ has an assignable arpeggiator of six rhythmic patterns: high, low, alternate 1/2, random and trigger.
